Thanks to Social Media apps like Tik Tok, Instagram, and even Facebook viewers can now find a cost effective option for everyday products or household items. Companies have studied the way high end brands market their products and they use a similar approach to make the same product with their own twist. Shopaholic teens are the main target for these products. People spend time comparing the real product to the dupe and oftentimes they are more attracted to the dupe because the companies do a good job of making a copy cat for a third of the price of the original. Most people don’t shop for the label anymore because they see that their money could be better spent in other places.
We have looked into different products and ELF is a very popular company know for their dupes. Their products are almost identical to Charlotte Tilbury and other high end companies. “I bought the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter Foundation, but I also have the ELF Halo Glow and I personally prefer the ELF product. It provides a stronger glow and is less expensive. I would definitely buy the ELF version again” stated Lorelai Edgar. She’s not the only one who feels this way; products are constantly sold out at locations.
If you want real analysis on different products look up dupe on any form of social media and there will be plenty. Next time you are shopping make sure to look for fakes that are just as good as the original and save some money.
