From April 25 -28, the Cheerleading Worlds are being held in Orlando Florida. All teams spend their entire season preparing for this event. In honor of the competition this weekend, it is time to recap the top five worlds routines from the 2024-2025 season.
5. Cheer Extreme SSX
Small Senior X is going for their second world championship in a row and 6th total. They are also known for a famous dance this season and their stunt which they have upgraded many times. Since ICE Lady Lightning left the division, SSX has been dominating the small senior all girl division in the 2025 season.
4. Top Gun Allstars TGLC
Top Gun Large Coed is going for their fifth in a row title and their ninth ever cheerleading championship at worlds. They have remained undefeated this year and have an F1 racing theme. TGLC has some of the most tumbling in cheerleading and also is known for their dance this year.
3. Cheer Extreme Senior Elite
Senior Elite may be the most famous team on the list and is also in the most prestigious division. They have won worlds five times and are trying to take the title back from Cheer Athletics Panthers.They won NCA in February and are known for the action packed Miss America themed routine they have this year.
2. Brandon Allstars Senior Black
Brandon Senior Black is in one of the most competitive divisions of the cheerleading worlds. They are going for their second win in a row and their 7seventh world championship total. Like revelation, they have a stunt that has gone viral and also is the expected winner of their division at worlds. As there are 20 teams in their division, they have won the three major competitions leading up to worlds (UCA, Cheersport, NCA) and have scored multiple 99+ scores.
1. Top Gun All Stars Revelation
Revelation is going for their fourth world championship in a row. Since they have only been a team for five years, this is an almost impossible achievement. They have also won across not one but two divisions, senior open large coed six and senior medium coed six. They have the highest average score in their division of a 97.84 and the third highest average of all worlds teams this year. They also are known for their stunt which has gone viral and people even describe watching their routine as a “concert” because of all the fans that sing their music.
