The Peters Township girls basketball team is making headway so far this season. They have successfully finished the regular season 19-3 with two losses being out of state. The team has been ranked number two in the 5A wpial playoffs behind South Fayette and won their first two playoff games to put them in the semifinals against Thomas Jefferson. So far the team has had great success on the court and aims for more.
While the team success comes first there has been significant individual accolades earned as well. Natalie Wetzel made first team all section MVP and Brianna Morreale also secured a spot on the first team. While Taylor McCullough and Jordyn Welsh made second team all section. These individuals players have learned to work together to create an almost unstoppable team.
